Since 2015, the ‘Crawl’ has transformed Newtown’s vibrant King Street and Enmore Road into a day-long music festival, celebrating the area’s rich diversity and artistic spirit by creating a continuous live music circuit, showcasing emerging and established talent.

This annual highlight (between 2015 – 2019) presented music in venues throughout the Newtown precinct – an area critical to Australia’s music industry.

Activations happen in contiguous Newtown, Erskineville, Enmore, Marrickville, agglomerating the eclectic venues along the bustling and walkable corridors. The Event expanded in 2021/22 with multiple outdoor stages, but due to ongoing covid closures and then unprecedented flooding, its outdoor stages were cancelled but a 3 day king street crawl style event was still salvaged and happened in venues with multiple special performances from larger outdoor artists as well as 300+ other local bands/artists.

Plans to bring back KSC are in the works for 2025 onwards!
